Buying
Quote requests
Request pricing from a supplier before placing a purchase order.
Quote requests sit early in the purchasing process. They help you gather pricing and terms before committing to a purchase.
- Request a quote for a product straight from a supplier's marketplace listing.
- Capture the products, quantities, and prices under discussion.
- Track its status as it moves between the two sides: Pending merchant (waiting on the supplier), Pending customer (waiting on you), Accepted, Customer rejected, or Merchant rejected.
- Once accepted, the quote becomes a purchase order.
A quote is for comparison and is not binding. A purchase order confirms the purchase.
