Stock locations

Choose which of your places can hold sellable stock.

Stock locations are the places that physically hold the products you sell. Here you choose which of your places to use for stock, so the system knows where your inventory sits.

What can hold stock

Only certain kinds of place can be a stock location:

  • Farms and their parcels.
  • Storage places, such as sheds, silos, cold rooms, and warehouses.
  • Livestock places, such as kraals and feedlots.

Water or utility points, like dams, cannot hold stock.

How it works

  • Each place is listed with its type. Turn a place on to use it as a stock location.
  • Add storage or livestock places with their name and address. Farms come from the farm locations you registered on the map.
  • Your subscription sets how many stock locations you can have switched on at once.

To stock and sell a product, you need at least one stock location switched on.
